Why did you have to do this to me?
You’ve left me remembering
Scenes of happiness
Sounds of laughter
Feelings of joy
No escape from my head
The times we laid in bed
Holding one another
Gazing into the eyes
Searching deep into the soul
Lost inside our minds
Pictures of serenity
A euphoric sensation
Clinging to my body
Flashes of passion
Smiles without limit
Eyes endlessly sparkling
Tears always falling
Lives forever changing
Memories never dieing
Emotions ceasing momentarily
Reviving almost suddenly
Wishing to be someone
Heartless, unfeeling, cold
Blood hot, heart pounding
No chance for me
Struggling with it
Caught in a battle
Never ending, reoccurring
Left alone to heal
Back to re-aggravate wounds
Deeply imbedded in my mind
Scarring inside of me
Inescapable torture
Bleeding emotion through eyes
Caring through the tears
Forgiving but not forgetting
Weeping for restitution
Praying for redemption
Screaming for release
Normal life recaptured
