Memories

A memory burned so deeply in my mind
Frightens me, gives me chills.
The day she stepped from her car
The moment I met her
The minute I should have known
That my future would not be
It simply could not be
What I wanted, how I wanted,
Where I wanted it to be.
A memory so vivid,
A picture clear as day,
From what I had on down to my socks,
To the events of the night.
Change the course a life,
Break a human being,
Into a state so unkown
Never been described.
Just look into my eyes
See the unkown
Share my pain with me.
Bleed the same red blood
Resurrect the life lost.
Go forth willing to make mistakes.
Beware the cruelty cross you path
Time may heal your wounds,
Only friends heal your faith.
